Report Someone who is Incorrectly Registered at Your Address

If you received official election mail for someone who does not live at your home, such as a previous home owner, use the following form to let your local election authority know that they are not living where they are registered.

2024 Election Dates:

March 19, 2024 – GENERAL PRIMARY ELECTION (For Democrat/Republican Nomination of Federal, State, and County Officials and for the election of Precinct Committee persons)

November 5, 2024 – GENERAL ELECTION (For the Election of Federal, State, and County Officials)

Federal Offices:

  • President & Vice-President of the U.S.A. (4 year term, on the ballot in 2024)
  • U.S. Senator (6 year term – next up: Durbin in 2026)
  • Congressional seats (U.S. House –– 2 year terms)

Illinois State Offices:

  • Governor and Lieutenant Governor (4-Year terms – last elected 2022)
  • Attorney General, Secretary of State, Treasurer, Comptroller (4-Year terms – last elected 2022)
  • Illinois Senate (2-Year or 4-year terms)
  • Illinois House (2 year term)
  • Illinois State Supreme Court
  • Illinois appellate courts

County

  • There are 102 counties – offices on the ballot vary based on county

Others

  • Local or regional offices (odd years) and/or local referendums
